My cousin in the middle east told me he’s flying to Dubai to “field test” a new Land Rover in the desert for a week to see if he should buy one for his family... I’m incredibly jealous.

I would kill to have one of the new ones to put the wife in to keep her happy (get the new diesel version 2016) fully convert my Disco II to Overland duties only and begin to go crazy on modding my FoST.

He currently drives a land cruiser. He visited the US over the winter and I took him to the DC auto show.. He really liked the LR4 but once he sat in a Range Rover Autobiography it was like a done deal. The problem.. He has over 150k on his land cruiser with absolutely no problems at all, so he’s gonna really have to love the week with the Landy!

I imagined he had one, last time I was in Dubai 85% of the cars there were Land Cruisers of some sort. Hope he buys the Rangie!
